Bernadette Bridges

Bernie Bridges (she/her) is an Atlanta-raised / LA-based writer and filmmaker.

Her work both in writing and film explores the intimate connections we share with our surrounding communities, and focuses on following characters from all walks of life.

Her short film, HOWL, premiered at LA’s Hollyshorts Film Festival in 2023. Her stories and poems have appeared in journals such as The Columbia Review, Quarto Magazine, and MidCult Magazine.

She received her B.A. with Honors in Creative Writing from Columbia University and currently lives in Los Angeles.
